Are these days for you?  Yes they absolutely are! These days are for all enthusiastic students of yoga... teachers, trainees and students alike.

Each day works as a standalone module but if you can make all four of them fantastic! There will be an asana class as part of the day. All these workshops will be held at my yoga studio in Dobcross with a light lunch included*. So do come along. Don’t be shy! It’s all good stuff and so very useful for that journey that we call ‘life’.

"Maureen is so warm and hospitable and welcoming, which is a nice comfort considering the depth of Indian philosophy and the complex multi layered nature of yogic knowledge that she delivers! I am not sure I really  appreciate just how much work must go into preparing the philosophy day! We cover reams of concepts, all in-depth and Maureen’s inestimable subject knowledge just pours out with “effortless effort”. She really does know her stuff! But the day isn’t all serious and difficult, despite looking at the deep and weighty matters of life, love, birth, death, truth, suffering and the whole universe. We have a lot of laughs, we make new friends. No Saturday could be better."  H.S.

"It was a wonderful enlightening, soul feeding day. Loved every minute.”  M.H.

"I’d recommend Maureen’s study days to anyone with an interest in yoga. Emotionally and spiritually rewarding, these days are full of yoga, chanting and teeming with information about the sutras. I found the whole experience powerful and very inspiring. Maureen brought deep meaning to the yoga sutras which has positively enhanced my practice. Initially sceptical about the chanting, I was surprised at how touched I was and felt the healing power of these experiences immediately. I was filled with deep and lasting sensations of wellbeing and peace. I’d encourage you to book a place to see how Maureen’s teaching can enhance your life!” J.R.

*Please note we reserve the right to change the venue and type of refreshments provided if we decide this works better for the number of students attending.

Here are five reasons to study yoga philosophy

  1. We are reminded of the true purpose of our yoga practice.
  2. We learn to understand the barriers to our happiness.
  3. We practice yoga from a more authentic place.
  4. We cultivate a deeper relationship with yoga that can transform our lives.
  5. We find a framework for life.
